On Wednesday this week, I had the pleasure of attending our very own Musical Theatre performance at Dragonflies nursery. Our pupils were amazing. Confident, clear and composed; their young audience loved it. As Zoe and Ethan sang merrily on the walk up to the venue, I thought that the lyrics of “On My Way” by Phill Collins rang true for our school community; 

“Tell everybody I’m on my way 
New friends and new places to see 
With blue skies ahead 
Yes, I’m on my way 
And there’s nowhere else that I’d rather be.” 

The support and kindness to others have been extensive throughout King Offa this week. From our well-being ambassadors leading assemblies and activities to promote anti-bullying, to our whole school service to commemorate remembrance. The ringing of the school bell topped off the feeling of hope. 

A huge thank you to families for joining me at an introductory meeting for King Offa’s PTFA. The meeting was well attended and I am pleased to announce that we will be holding our first AGM on Tuesday 2nd December at 3.45pm. New families are welcome, the more the merrier. Sign up below:
