We Did It!

Together, our pupils, staff and volunteers walked an incredible 1,000+ miles in our annual sponsored walk!

The sun shone throughout the day, providing perfect weather, although by the time we returned, we were all feeling rather warm. Thankfully, our amazing PTFA came to the rescue with ice poles for everyone, helping us cool down while we reflected on our fantastic achievement.

From our youngest walkers aged just 2 years old to our oldest participant at 83 years young, the event was truly a celebration of our whole school community. Both Mrs Ward’s parents and my own family joined us this year, alongside the many volunteers who generously gave their time to support the event.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, volunteered, donated or cheered us on. Your support helped make the day such a success.

Year 5 added even more miles to their total this week as they walked to Bexhill Museum for their first educational visit of the year. Once again, we were delighted to receive compliments from museum staff about how polite, respectful and engaged our pupils were throughout the visit.

Well done, Year 5, and thank you for being such positive ambassadors for our school.

At this week's Achievement Assembly, we were pleased to welcome Max Vialou Clark, a high-performance executive coach. Max shared his experiences of helping people challenge themselves to achieve their goals and ambitions.

His key message was the importance of continuing to learn, setting clear goals and remaining focused on achieving them. Max was extremely impressed by the ambition shown by the pupils of King Offa and commented on the strength of the partnership between the school and wider community.
