    Headteacher's Update 28th November 2025

We are thrilled to celebrate our Year 6 Kurling team for reaching the semi-finals in this week’s inter-school competition. A fantastic shot from Logan was narrowly beaten, as you can see from William’s focused reaction while tracking the opposing team. With Wednesday’s chilly weather, it almost felt like they were Kurling on real ice!

This week, pupils demonstrated an impressive depth of knowledge during their Autumn assessments. I was truly impressed by the respect and support shown across the entire school, helping maintain a calm and productive environment. Every pupil deserves a big pat on the back for their hard work and achievements.

On Monday, we look forward to announcing our newly elected school councillors. All pupils approached the election with great seriousness and enthusiasm, as highlighted in our recent Facebook post. Next week promises to be action-packed, with festive Nativities, a performance at the De La Warr Pavilion, and our Christmas Fair on Saturday. We know our pupils will want to be in school every day to make the most of these wonderful opportunities.
