    Headteacher's Update 12th December 2025

Care and kindness are always evident at King Offa, but every so often, there are moments that truly stand out. At the end of last week, Ralphie from Year 6 organised a hugely successful cake sale. It was so popular that the cakes sold out before the queue had even finished! When Patsy from Year 2 was left disappointed, Devlin from Year 6 stepped in and generously offered her his own cake. What a superstar!

This week has been full of wonderful events. Our Christmas Fair was a fantastic success, with so many happy faces and a great sense of community spirit. We were thrilled to raise over £1,300, which will go towards redeveloping our KS2 playground. Other highlights included the Year 2 Christmas Carols and the Year 3–5 Carol Service at St Stephen’s Church. A huge well done to all the pupils for putting on such brilliant performances.

And the fun didn’t stop there! We were also treated to a staff panto—oh no we weren’t! Oh, yes we were! (Sorry, I slipped back into character for a moment.) Thank you to our amazing staff for filling the hall with laughter and festive cheer.

With just one week to go until the end of term, we’re looking forward to finishing the year in style!!
