Happy New Year! Once we had thawed out the frozen gates, it was a pleasure to welcome pupils back for the start of a new term and new calendar year on Tuesday. In assembly this week we talked about the fresh start being an opportunity to consolidate, make progress, and be ambitious. This links closely with our school value of opportunity, which is our focus for this term. Watch out for our Great King Offa Bake Off, which will be a chance to promote this value.

Having truly felt the full force of winter this week, the collaboration and partnership within our school community has brought us warmth and strength. Our newly formed PTFA met this week and will soon be sharing their exciting plans with families.
