Welcoming our pupils and staff back to school this week has been an absolute joy. It has been wonderful to see so much confidence, productivity and kindness already on display. It is a true reminder of what a special community we have at King Offa. 

Thanks to the incredible hard work of our site team, contractors and wider staff, we returned to a school that has benefited from significant structural and cosmetic improvements over the summer break. Four classroom ceilings have been replaced, and the Camelot buildings have now been completed. 

One of the immediate benefits of these improvements has been enjoyed by our Key Stage 2 pupils at lunchtime. They now have access to two playgrounds and a wider range of activities, including football, discos, colouring and board games through our lunch club provision. 

During assembly, we reflected on the many achievements of the last academic year and looked ahead with excitement to the opportunities that await us. Pupils eagerly shared stories of their summer adventures, and we were particularly proud to celebrate Phoenix's remarkable achievement of walking 61 miles to raise money for a charity supporting children with cancer.
