Do you take Childcare Vouchers?
We do take Childcare Vouchers; please see the manager for more details.
How can I prepare my child for starting nursery?
All children are unique and the amount of time that a child takes to settle into our Nursery can vary enormously. Therefore, children will be given time to settle in at their own pace, so as to make them feel welcome, safe and confident in a new environment. We encourage parents to help during this time. We also make use of an established key person system that allows both the child and family to have a first point of call of support within these settling times and throughout their time here at King Offa Nursery.
How much are your nursery fees, and how do we pay?
2 years £5.80 per hour, 3-4 years olds £5.55 per hour. You will be invoiced at the start of each month and can pay via bank transfer (Details will be provided with your invoice).
What are your times of opening?
Please note that all children are on a term-time only contract.
What do I need to provide?
We ask parents to provide a bag with a change of labelled clothes and shoes, we also ask for a supply of nappies and wipes. The children are able to free flow outside whatever the weather so it is good if they come to nursery in appropriate clothing. We enjoy using the field for our large gross motor movements, so a pair of wellies is a great addition to your nursery belongings! You are very welcome to bring your child’s comforters e.g. Dummies. Please ensure that all items are clearly labelled.
Will my child have a keyworker?
We have a well-established key worker system, where we have linked staff with children who have built relationships or are requested by the parent/carers. Keyworkers are responsible for keeping Learning Journeys up to date and assessing their development, all staff will be involved in making observations and working on individual next steps.
