Meet our team
Here at King Offa Nursery, all of our staff are fully qualified and undergo an extensive induction programme. All staff regularly participate within continuous professional development programmes throughout the academic year to ensure the highest quality of provision is available at King Offa Nursery.
At all times there is a member of staff present on site who is fully peadiatric First Aid trained and all staff are checked by the Disclosure and Barring Service as part of our recruitment processes.
Our nursery is regulated by the standards as laid out within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework 2023 which came into effect from September 4th 2023 (Published July 2023), which states that there must be a minimum ratio of adult carers to each group of children present at any given time.
These ratios are as follows:
- 2-3 years, 1 adult to 5 children
- 3-5 years, 1 adult to 8 children.
In practice, we often have higher numbers of adults to children than this statutory minimum.
