The school of choice

Meet our team

Here at King Offa Nursery, all of our staff are fully qualified and undergo an extensive induction programme. All staff regularly participate within continuous professional development programmes throughout the academic year to ensure the highest quality of provision is available at King Offa Nursery.

All of our staff are fully paediatric First Aid trained and are checked by the Disclosure and Barring Service as part of our recruitment processes.

Our nursery is regulated by the standards as laid out within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework 2021, which states that there must be a minimum ratio of adult carers to each group of children present at any given time.

These ratios are as follows:

  • 2-3 years, 1 adult to 4 children
  • 3-5 years, 1 adult to 8 children

In practice, we often have higher numbers of adults to children than this statutory minimum.
